During the approx. three-hour hike, nine five-minute talks on climate history take you into another time, another climate, another geography. We recommend the accompaniment of a mountain guide for hikes on the Gorner glacier. The audio guides (G, E, F) can be hired at Zermatt Tourism, the Alpine Center Zermatt or the Gornergrat Railway. Deposit required. More info at The audio guide is also recommended for a Gornergrat excursion. You can listen to the contents during the trip, on the sightseeing platform or at a quiet spot along the route.
